Dylan Thomas By Toneshia Wall Terrance Dixon Dylan Thomas 19141953 Dylan Thomas was a young poet that was born in Swansea in southwestern Wales and he visited maternal grandfathers farm Which describes it in fern hill With the encouragement of his father an English teacher he became interested in poetry at an early age Before turn 20 he had already written at least in early form many of his best known poems As a teenager he also produced source books of ideas that served as a basic for work later When he turned 21 he went to London and became a journalism broadcasting and film making Thomas struggled with alcoholism though out most of his adult life
