The promotion of the access of the Roma to the labour market requires programmes with a long-term perspective and adequate resources . The ESI Funds are a priviledged instrument .

Concept of interculurality for first timeNew labor intermediation services: public and privates LABOUR MARKET Roma's traditional professions are in recession or require a strong re-conversion.Initial disqualification.Inefficacy of mainstream employment policies towards the RomaSocial prejudices and stereotypes, affect in a negative way to the access to the labour market

AIM: To include Roma people effectively in the labour market To provide Roma with professional qualifications and access to the labour marketTo raise awareness regarding prejudice and discriminatory practices affecting RomaTo foster more active policies regarding the Roma community

The programme combines actions at different levels (grassroots level and institutional/policy level, and communication/awareness-raising) and targeting Roma persons but also other actors which are key for facilitating their access to the labour market. 1.Direct intervention with Roma through actions that have a direct impact on their employability and facilitate their access to the labour market

2. Intervention in the institutional arena and policy-making to encourage and promote more active social policies which foster the improvement of living and working conditions

3.Awareness raising targeting the society at large and actors in the labour market

Individual Employment Pathways. Analysis of situation of departure ; expectations adjustment, definition of professional objectives.Pre-assessment. Assess suitability for starting labour inclusion itinerary in Acceder.Training interpersonal skills and competences Adjust personal expectations, training to gain autonomy in the labour market. Vocational training: aquisition of basic skills, cross-cutting and professional skills, abilities y habits..

Objective: To disseminate information about the service To visualize the program among different supports To establish information, coordination and referring protocols to other organizations. Disseminate the programme and its services among posible participants and close environment MEDIATORS

Pre- assessment . Assess suitability for starting labour inclusion itinerary in Acceder.MEDIATORSObjective: Motivate the beneficiaries about the importance of training and employment. Analyze and register data about potential personal and professional skills. To facilitate and exchange baseline information in employment and occupational training

Analysis of situation of departure of the particpant ; expectations adjustment, definition of professional objectives. COUNSELLORSObjective: Baseline analysis from the labour market view with beneficiaries (variables such as training skills, motivation, availability , personal and professional project of life)To register relevant data To establish commitments, compromises and agreements with beneficiaries
