6. Gap Year students

THREE WEEKS’ NOTICE

requests related to university application to be made through WIS CAREERS Department (do not approach your ex teachers individually for references)

- Contact

three weeks ahead of the application deadline

to get the school documents completed (careers@wis.edu.hk)

UCAS Buzzword

7. Transfer students

WIS is not able to write and submit references and evaluations for students who wish to transfer from one university to another once you have started your course.Slide8

Every student MUST complete the HE module

11. Locking of IB accountsAll university applications and details must be entered onto GATEWAY

before you go on exam leave – 11 April.

Careers staff will be checking GATEWAY to see who has/hasn’t filled in their information.

FAILURE TO COMPLETE UNIVERSITY APPLICATION INFORMATION ON GATEWAY WILL RESULT IN YOUR IB ACCOUNT BEING LOCKED (E.G., YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR EXAM RESULTS ONLINE ON 6 JULY
