The logic may be that high traveldemand at morning and evening peak hours on weekdays result infrequent traffic congestion and thus warrants special attention. How-ever, as travel demand increases and infrastructure construction Activity-based travel demand modeling is relatively new and hasit requires signiÞcantly more Þnancial and personal resources for col-lecting data and carrying out detailed analysis. Fortunately, advanceseasier, and model development costs have accordingly been reduced.
