The mission of the Monitoring Program is to identify and provide information needed to sustain subsistence fisheries on Federal public lands for rural Alaskans through a multidisciplinary collaborative program.

Projects

of up to four years duration may be considered in any year’s monitoring plan. Studies must not duplicate existing projects. A majority of Monitoring Program funding will be dedicated to non-Federal agencies

Regional Advisory Councils with Priority Needs development

Principal Investigators work with Regional Advisory Councils and/or communities to develop proposals
