1.The Aryans were skilled warriors. The Aryans are known today due to their religious writing called the vedas! At first, the Aryans were known as nomads who took their herds of animals along as they moved. Over time, however, they settled in villages and began to farm. No one ruled the communities.

Raja was a leader who ruled a village and the land around it. Raja governed the Aryans. Sometimes Raja joined forces before fighting a common enemy. Sometimes they fought against each other, and sometimes they would not, but most times they Aryans and the Raja would be in the battle field together.

The Aryan settlers could not read nor write. They had to memorize their cultural sacred texts. The works have been lost forever and their culture represented the vedas.
