29. Upon Entry into facility/site: Staff are required to wear the minimum PPE of a Face Mask and GlovesOptional Items: Shoe Covers, Head Caps, GownIf you choose to wear a face shield or safety googles, they need cleaned after each shift. Once cleaned, it can be reused.PPE Protocol

30. Pathways takes the health and wellness of your employees, residents, and our team seriously. Our clinical nurse manager will continue to update the protocol as the Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Health release additional direction to medical teams. Personal Protection Equipment:  Both Nurses and Admins will wear a mask and gloves during the duration of the clinic. Face Shields, Gowns, and additional PPE are available upon staff’s request.  Immunization AreaCOVID-19 based regulations state that the immunization area should be wiped down every hour at a minimum. This may be increased at the discretion of the managing RN at the clinic.Keep room/s well-ventilated; open doors and windows to help with air circulation.COVID-19 Protocols: Client Information

31. Temperature ScreenedEach patient will have their temperature screened upon entry to the clinic and prior to receiving immunizations. Nurses or admins may screen temperature.  This may be waived if the patient had their temperature screened to enter the building or workforce. Anyone showing signs/symptoms of COVID-19 will not be able to get their vaccination/s. Social DistancingSocial distancing of 6 feet will be in place and if that cannot be maintained we will take your number and contact you when the space becomes available. Review the Thermometer ProtocolProtocols are uploaded on Staff private websiteTest the thermometer upon arrival (allow the thermometer to warm up 15 minutes before arriving on-site if it’s been left in a cold climate)If the patient has an elevated temperature (100.4 F +), report them to their supervisor & record accordingly.Remember to sanitizer thermometer & replace it back into the box once finished or for the next user.Temperature Screenings
