Disgraceful, dishonorable, or infamous

Mr. Hyde was considered to be a

disreputable

man due to the many horrible acts he committed in London. Slide3

To be thick skinned.

Dr. Jekyll became

callous

and almost accepting when it came to the words and actions of Mr. Hyde. Slide4

3. Vile --

Wretched, offensive, or disgusting.

Dr. Jekyll was a compassionate, decent man; Mr. Hyde was a cruel,

4. Seclusion --

Isolation or detachment

Dr. Jekyll lived a short life of
