15. Hybris – Back Office – Classification System The Classification allows you to dynamically create new product attributes and assign them to products at run-time. Besides this important advantage, features have many disadvantages compared to type attributes as described in Type System. This page will guide you through the design of a Classification System to overcome some of the issues.Quite often we see the Hybris Commerce "classificationsystems" extension enabled in the localextensions.xml file for a project. This extension provides several classification systems (such as eClass, ETIM, proficlass, UNSPSC), but does not provide the classification system functionality itself. The Classification System is already embedded in the platform and therefore you do not need to enable classificationsystems extension unless you want to use import and use any of the specific Classification Systems it provides
