Mebi Department of Physical Sciences 09/26/18 Restatement of professional enhancement opportunity Participation in the 255 th American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting provide d a great opportunity for chemists to be exposed to diverse research and exhibitions , as well as network with other professionals. Professional development grant provided partial support that facilitate d my participat ion at the c onference which took place in New Orleans, LA (March 18 - 22, 2018) . he PI conducts research on the design, preparation, and characterization of coordination compounds as catalyst s for the production of hydrogen. Presenting our recent and exciting results at the chemistry c onference was an excellent opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with experts in the field. Summary of experiences had We successfully presented two posters on our research; "Reaction of quinolinethiols with Fe 3 (CO) 12 (paper number: INOR 242)" and "Iron carbonyl complexes with mercaptopyridines (paper number: INOR 243) ". Many conference attendees visited our poster s and engag ed in very fruitful discussions . Conclusion I am grateful for th e financial support from ATU Professional Development Grant to attend the 255 th American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting .
