Did you KNOW???

Did you know that the Staunton YMCA provides a wonderful Middle School Mentorship program? The program includes homework help, as well as partnerships with various community groups. It meets every day from 3-8 Mon through Fri and 2-7 Sat and Sun. Students may drop in and out any hours that suit your family best. So, if you prefer a few hours 2 or 3 days a week, that is fine. If you prefer all the hours that is acceptable as well. The fee is $15 per month. There is a one time $25 registration fee. For more information please contact Eddie Santiago esantaiago@saymca.org

Here’s what

December features the Hour of Code, where we encourage EVERYONE to engage in an activity that helps us to have fun with computer science. I will be sharing lots of fun activities that our teachers can use with students. Want to try it out yourself (it's fun!)....look here: https://code.org/learn for some of the activities your students might be doing.
