Slide15Registering on the programAt the beginning of each semester you need to register for the program and individual courses
This is done via the Student Portal
Make sure to only register for courses you are planning to take!

In order to be admitted to the
semester you need to have passed at least 6 ECTS credits
In order to be admitted to the
semester you need to have passed at least 40 ECTS credits
In order to be admitted for the Master’s thesis course you need to have passed at least 65 ECTS credits, including all the mandatory courses

Slide18Examination rulesDisciplinary measures can be taken against a student who:
Uses forbidden aids and equipment, or in any other way, purposely acts misleadingly during the examination or the assessment of a study achievement.
Causes disturbance, prevents teaching, examinations or other university related activity from taking place.
If the student is suspected of cheating, the examination invigilator will intervene. The examination invigilator continuously checks the corridors and toilets for material that may belong to the examination.

The registration for an exam usually opens 30 days prior to the exam date and closes 10 days before the scheduled date
If you forget to register you can still take the exam if there are places available
You sign up ”at the door” and get to wait 30 minutes before entering the exam room

Slide20Exam procedureThe exam starts at the stated time, you need to be present at least 15 minutes prior (unless otherwise stated)
Late arrival follows the same procedure as not registering
If you arrive more than 30 minutes later than the start time, you do not have the right to participate
