The National Gallery houses the national collection of paintings in the

Western European

tradition from the 13th to the 19th centuries. The collection contains

some of

the greatest paintings ever created including Monet’s The Water-Lily Pond, van Eyck’s The

Arnolfini Portrait, Velázquez’s The Rokeby Venus

, Turner’s

The

Fighting Temeraire and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers.Located in the heart of Central London, the National Gallery is conveniently placed in one of the most vibrant and historical spaces in the capital. There are a diverse range of elegant event spaces within the Gallery to suit all your conferencing needs, along with a dedicated Events Team, in-house Audio Visual Team and free Wi-Fi throughout. We can accommodate everything from meetings in our conference rooms and presentations in our Lecture Theatre, to receptions in our Wilkins Boardroom.

Gallery A explores a different way of experiencing the

nation’s collection of paintings, as

it is hung broadly in chronological order, telling the entire story of

years of painting in

a single space.

This gallery is located within the main Wilkins Building and is accessed by our

Pigott

Education Centre entrance, accommodating up to 88 guests seated in cabaret style and 140 theatre style. Audio-visual equipment can be hired from our in-house team and furniture can be hired via our accredited suppliers list.GALLERY A

Expert Lecturer

tours or talks provided by our lecturers. Tours can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests at £150.00 +VAT per hour per tour, with multiple groups touring the collection at any one time. Lecturer talks can be hosted as part of your event schedule and are £200 +VAT for an hour.ActivitiesWe have a variety of in-gallery activities providing an ideal opportunity to engage and motivate your team. Our fascinating collection and history can provide inspiration through lunch time talks, bespoke quizzes and audio tours.
