MORENO VALLEY COLLEGE 201 4 – 201 5 GRANT DISBURSEMENT SCHEDULE You have submitted the requested documentation on: 1. M any factors determine your financial aid eligibility. FINANCIAL AID AWARD or DISBURSEMENT DATE! 2. All disbursement dates are contingent upon funding and subject to change. Grant disbursements are based on your enrollment status and units will be checked approximately 2 weeks before each disbursement date. 3. To receive your full disbursement amount yo u must be in attendance and your class must have already started. Payment disbursement of the semester. If you have applied for a D irect Loan, you will be notified separately of your loan disbursement dates. 4 . If your Financial Aid staff has any questions or concerns regarding your paperwork, you will be notified via Web - Advisor under required documents as well as your student ema il or by phone. 5 . Once we have received all initial and/or additional documentation requested, your Financial Aid staff will review your paperwork and the reported information on your FAFSA to ensure accuracy. 6 . It is imp ortant to continue to check Web Advisor and student email to see if any additional/supporti ng documentation is required. 7 . Your vised Financial Aid Award email notificatio n via your student email account. 8 . You will receive your disbursement according to the processing deadline you me e t. Please refer to the reverse for disbursement dates. DEAD LINE DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHAN G E WITHOUT WARNING. 9 . You will only be paid for class es you are actively attending. funds received. If you receive payment for a class and drop, you may be required to rep ay a portion or the entire grant/ loan you received. 10 . Cal Grant and Direct Loan Recipients must be enrolled at least half time (6 units) and must have an active academic program (major) other than undecided. See Admissions and Re cords if updates are necessary. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS UTILIZING FEDERAL RCCD is excited to announce a new method for receiving your financial aid funds. Starting in July 2014, Higher One will begin mailing bright lime green envelopes which will include a pre - printed Higher One card with the Master Card logo al ong with step by step instructions on how to sign up for your new disbursement method. Higher One o ffers students several options: 1. Higher One Card 2. Direct deposit into your bank account 3. Check Students will need to use the account number on the Higher One card to select their preferred choice of activating the Higher One card, selecting the direct deposit option or requesting a check.
