In 1864 May 12 outside the courthouse in Virginia about 5,000 troops came to fight before the fight started the stump was a beautiful oak tree at the end of the fight so many bullets flew that so many of them hit the stump! 2,000 people were killed and the beautiful oak tree was a stump. Slide4
