Student work should show progression with the writing piece going through the different parts of the Writing Process. The final published piece should be neat and have minimal errors.Slide9
Teacher Feedback
Teacher feedback must be meaningful, reference not only the current the rubric but also previous feedback given and whether the feedback was accomplished.
For example:
I like the way you included details in your essay as we spoke about in your Narrative Writing piece. Next time work on adding details that are MOST important to the story, for example tell me about how the food in the story affected the villagers.
