ZDC Status 3rd Oct 2018
Two of our QIE10 cards have the new front panels installed, see next slide. This will make a robust connection between the cards and the 12m signal cables. Four more should be done this week. We have one 12m SMA to Limo cable that we will use for testing. Others will come soon. Alexi has made us a PMT testing box for testing 3 PMTs at a time. It has a nice optical input for bringing in a laser or LED pulse. EM readout boxes from Paul. We have to solder 1MΩ resistors onto signal cables and make new standoffs but no show stoppers. For one ZDC the lifting “ears” have gone missing. We will make more.Paul is aware of this but I will push him to send drawings.The Centrality group wants to use the calibrations of ZDC+ that Alice made.
