Johnson Controls’ leveraged Power Apps connected with key data sources, including SurveyMonkey. Leaders built flows in Power Automate and use Power BI dashboards to amplify results. The scalable training solution is pushing efficiency and accuracy through the roof.
Timely survey execution increased from 80 percent to 99.99 percent, reporting turnaround time decreased from five days to one, and back-office efforts decreased from 4,870 to 1,160 hours annually. KPI accuracy is up, and manual intervention is almost nonexistent.

COBALT (Central Ops Buildings Administered Learning Tracker) on Power Platform
Instructor creates training event and participants enroll in Power Apps application.
Event data flows to SQL Server through on-premises gateway.
Event participants are provisioned in Azure AD user group for access to event training software and knowledge base. Training event is added to SharePoint calendar and participants’ Outlook calendars. Instructors can confirm event from email. Additionally, instructors receive clickable emails for milestone updates for effortless compliance through the event.
Post-event feedback is collected using SurveyMonkey API. Event data and survey results are displayed in Power BI dashboard.
