An individual’s perception of beauty is shaped by their culture, the society they live in, and by their interaction with others. Beauty is an ever evolving enigma. However, one thing that is clear about beauty is that anytime a person is said to be beautiful, they must embody a vast majority of the beauty characteristics of that particular culture. Also, beauty is almost always based on outward appearance; the whole idea of “inward beauty” is a myth because most cultures do not truly value that type of beauty.
