Transport Integrator (TPI) Rate Procurement DOs Sign up for Email Notifications http://www.gsa.gov/portal/category/21192Get your company approved as a GSA TSP If you can log into TPI, you are already approvedTake the online rate procurement trainingIt is important your rate filers are adequately trainedPay attention to due dates in the RFOOpt in for Bid Cycles of interest before the bid response dateOpen/close datesRefer to TSP Rate Procurement Filing Instructions Guide (HelpDocs link in TPI Portal Highlight editable columns on Excel Spreadsheet Ensure rates are submitted in percentage for LTL and dollar & cents for TL and accessorials Submit both line haul and accessorial rates for all RFOs of interest 7

Transport Integrator (TPI) Rate Procurement DON’Ts Wait until the last minute (help, training, rate filing) Use the wrong excel formatLeave formulas in excel spreadsheet prior to loading in TPIAssume your company’s current rates will automatically roll over in TPICheck all lanes after roll over for proper rates before submittingLeave errors uncorrected during the upload process Tips for how to handle are in the Rate Procurement Filing Instruction Guide and covered in training8

Transportation Service Providers Reminders New carriers cannot be on-boarded once procurement commences You need not file for all the lanesIf you file for a lane, you are expected to service that lane if a load is tenderedNote the segmentation, once a segment closes you miss the window, segments can be different every year If you do not Opt in for a segment, you cannot file, no exceptionsFinally, read the RFO carefully, changes can occur in scope, accesorials and STOS terms and conditions 9
