The Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award recognizes the teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of faculty and preceptors in dietetics education programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. The
selection of awardees is determined by the Nutrition and Dietetic Educators and Preceptors
Group.
Dr. Ramsay was nominated for this award by colleagues at the University of Idaho.

The June Yerrington Award is unique to the Idaho Academy. The award recognizes the characteristics of June Yerrington who served as President of the Idaho Dietetic Association in 1971-1972 and mentored many RDs during her career at the VA Hospital in Boise :

award honors the respect the recipient has earned from his or her colleagues.
The individual who
receives this award has contributed to
the Idaho Academy
in a significant way during his or her professional career.
The member
must have made a significant impact in his or her
community.

Gem Award Dr. John J. Eck, MD Center for Lifetime Health Boise
Idaho Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
The Gem award recognizes
an organization or nonmember
of
the Idaho Academy.
The award recognizes promotion of
good health with an emphasis on sound nutrition habits
and efforts that support the roles of RDNs in Idaho.
Dr. Eck employs two RDNs in his practice.
