Response?. 58,200 children are victims of non-family abductions each year. 100 – 200 of those victims are stereotypical kidnappings. Approximately ½ of these victims are sexually assaulted during the commission of the crime. Introduction Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is a phenomenon where an infant under the age of one dies due to unknown reasons. There are speculations that the reasons might include respiratory problems or circulatory problems but doctors have not been able to pinpoint the cause of death yet. One theory in the field is by Dr. McKenna, whose hypothesis is that signaling occurs between mothers and babies when they are cosleeping (sleeping next to each other or are in the same room). This signaling may assist to reset the breathing patterns or the arousal rhythm of sleep which would help some babies who might be susceptible to SIDS. The objective of the study was to test this hypothesis of mothers and babies cosleeping by looking at mathematical equations and relating them to different states of sleep: active and quiet sleep. This was done by modeling sleep in several different ways and by using sleep data from Dr. Thoman HAISHEDEALNFANROUAREEmily Shubitz has worked extensively in the Twin Cities region consulting and assisting heads of schools to develop parent-infant and toddler communities She began the parent-infan Score them. Assemble them into a composite explanation. Hypothesis Assembly Algorithm. Look for essential hypotheses. a hypothesis that is the only way to explain some data. Include/propagate/remove (see the next slide) and repeat from top. The 2002 UHES and the 1996 UDHS used similar data collection processes and direct estimation techniques to produce infant mortality estimates. The 2000 MICS employed a different methodology for both Influenza, COVID, RSV, many other viruses. Masks and hand hygiene. Cleaning of surfaces with dilute bleach. Not coming to work when unwell and symptomatic. MRO = multi-resistant organisms. Same as MDR (multi-drug resistance).
