It is estimated that 1 in 4 women, 1 in 6 men and 1 in 5 children are living in with domestic abuse. It is an issue that is often kept hidden and victims’ family, friends and colleagues may have no idea what is happening at home. It is vital that more people are able to identify the signs of abuse and know how to support someone that is in an abusive relationship.  This training session will help participants to understand domestic abuse and how it affects both adult victims and children who are living with abusive parents or carers.
