Physical educationIs the main source of physical activity for the youth The people mainly responsible for the children’s learning of PE is the parents, teacher, and school boards members. It has been discovered by Taylor and Chiogioji (1987) that the goal of PE is, “ To promote physical fitness, self-esteem, and cognitive and social development.” Slide5

How to know when you have met the guidelines of physical ActivityThe Department of Health and Human Services issued Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans in 2008 They recommend at least 60 minutes of physical aerobic activity daily for children ages 6-17, and 30 minutes daily for adults ages 18-64.Slide7
