Verifying Your IdentityIn order to register for the Parent Portal you will need your child’s Student IDVisit the Freeport Middle School office, so a copy of your driver license can be made Once a copy has been made, you will be given your child’s Student ID number
To Sign Up for Parent Portal Visit: www.walton.k12.fl.us Click on FOCUS Connection for Parents under the “Parents” tab Follow the provided link
Parent Portal Registration Click the I DO NOT have an Account link Fill in the requested information and Submit
Adding Your Student(s) Click the link: I would like to ADD ANOTHER CHILD who is already enrolled Use the Student ID the office provided to you & update the Birthdate click Add Student
Connecting With Your Student(s)Contact the Data Control Specialist, Jami Weeks, at (850) 892-1221 Ext. 3203 once you have completed the previous steps Your new parent account and your student’s account will be linked so you can view your student’s information Attendance Grades Assignments/due dates
Viewing Your Parent Portal: Below is your Parent Portal home screen You can choose a specific subject by clicking on the home screen or Assignments & Grades tab to view individual assignments, due dates, and grades Your student’s name will appear in a drop down box where you can change between each student if you have multiple students enrolled . Classes/grades are located on the home screen Can move between different quarters from this drop down tab
