ALLUSION – Reference to a statement, person, place or event from literature, history religion, mythology, science, etc.

Xenia - Greek laws of hospitality. That all guests are safe from attack under a host’s roof, even if they are the hosts enemy.
Example: Odysseus expected Polyphemus to follow the laws of xenia, so he was shocked when Polyphemus killed 2 of his men.Narrative - A story or account of events, experiences, or the like, whether true or fictitious. Example: The Iliad/ the Odyssey.Invocation - The act of invoking or calling upon a deity, spirit, etc., for aid, protection, inspiration, or the like; supplication.
