Staff Approval (vetting session)
Previous performance for returning sub-grantees
Fiscal responsibility demonstrated in previous grants
Is there oversaturation with similar projects proposed?
Commission Approval
Projects are submitted to our Commission (that has been appointed by the Governor) for approval
NHTSA Approval
The annual Highway Safety Plan (HSP) must be submitted to NHTSA by July 1 with a response expected sometime in September
