About Your ONE FOR ALL 4 Volume Fast Forward Keys Teletext Keys Play About Your ONE FOR ALL KeyFunction LEDLEDThe LED (Light Emitting Diode) flashes redto show the remote is working.The Power key controls the same function ason your original remote.The TV, VCR, SAT and AUX keys select thehome entertainment device to becontrolled. The red light will blinkNow, aim your ONE FOR ALL Television and press Television switches off, your ONE FORis ready to run your Television.Write your code in the three boxes on page 19, for quick, easyTo control your Television, press TV first. Setting Up The Lite1243 -To set up your Video Recorder or Satellite, follow thesame instructions above, only press the VCR or SAT key-To set up your Cable Box, follow the instructions aboveonly press the SAT key during step 2.-If your Television, Video or Satellite does not respond,follow steps 1 through 4 with each code listed for youryour device, then try the search method described on-If you change programmes on your Television throughyour Video Recorder, press VCR and not TV, before you usethe programme keys.-If your VideoÕs original remote control does not have aPOWER key, press PLAY instead of POWER when searching The AUX key on your ONE FOR ALLcan be used to controla second Television, Video Recorder or Satellite Receiver. Not all of the teletext functions Advanced Features ON OFF ON OFF Note: To preserve battery life, turn off the Lite feature 12 Menu ControlIf your original remote had Menu control, your ONE FOR ALLwill be able to control this feature. To use Menu, find thedescription below which describes how your original remotenavigated through menu. Original remote used Up, Down, Left, Right:Volume and Channel keys can be used as directional keys. Usethem the same way you did to navigate through the menuscreen with your original remote control. C/P+=UpC/P-=DownVol+=RightVol-=LeftOriginal remote used Volume+/- and Channel+/-:If you used the Volume and Channel keys on your originalremote to navigate through Menu, you will need to pressjust as on your original remote. Original remote used Red, Green, Yellow and Blue:On some devices Menu is activated by pressing one of theFastext keys (red, green, yellow or blue). The ONE FOR ALLwill access menu in the same way. To navigate throughthe menu screens, use the same keys as you did on youroriginal remote control. -To exit out of Menu, simply press the Menu key again orthe key you were required to press on your originalremote.-During Menu operation, the red LED will blink every 3seconds indicating the ONE FOR ALL is in Menu control. To release the lock, simply repeat the same steps. SAT to enter a new code until the lock is released. Advanced Features The Search MethodIf your Television, Video Recorder or Satellite Receiver doesnot respond to the ONE FOR ALLthe codes listed for your brand, try the Search Method. TheLet's say you cannot get your ONE FOR ALLto controlyour Television:Switch your Television on.Aim the ONE FOR ALLTelevision. Press and hold downuntil the ONE FOR ALL light blinks twice. Then, press Now, alternate between over and over, until your Television turnsoff. You may have to press these keysRemember to keep pointing the ONEat your Television when youWhen your Television turns off, . Don't forget, press MAGICas soon as your Television turns off.
