Congressman Crowley was recently elected as the Chairman of

the House Democratic

Caucus and currently serves on the 

Committee on Ways and Means, the oldest committee in the House of Representatives. The Ways and Means Committee has jurisdiction over tax measures, trade and tariff laws, Social Security, Medicare, and retirement security. 

 He also serves on a number of caucuses, including:
