Some data on Stirling/Clackmannamshire Groups

Two Groups to date

8 fathers engaged with programme, ranging from 21-40 yrs old

Issues involving Offending behaviour; Child protection; Substance misuse; Adult mental well-being.

16 children within families affected by programme. 7 directly engaged in the sessions.

Issues explored within groups: Domestic Abuse; unemployment; self-harm; childhood trauma.Slide9

Outcomes from Fathers

Data measurement tools identify all show improvements around levels of conduct behaviours, frequency and intensity of hassle indicators; improvements in parental concerns around anxiety and irritability.

Practical outcomes:

Two fathers returned to employment; two children removed from CPR; two fathers completed substance misuse programmes; (one joined community gym); one father avoided custodial sentence – and wanted to! Improved relationships with children and partners (including ex-partners). Improved relationships with professional agencies.Slide10
