Summer 2015 Alliso n Fasano GEOSCI 10 In June of 2015 a group of 11 friends including me took a trip to High Point State Park in northern New Jersey just north of Sussex County We rented out a camping spot where we could set up our tent and a fire pit was provided It was so cool We were completely secluded the visitor center was a 15 minute walk away and the next camp site was about a mile down the road so it really made the experience feel like a real survival weekend considering none of us had gone camping before Unfortunately the weather was extremely damp in fact it poured for a straight hour when we got there and in the middle of us setting up the 14person tent Everything was soaked but we wanted to make the best of the trip regardless .
