colonized the Sudan, they divided the country and ignored tribal boundaries, and religious differences.

When the British withdrew from the Sudan, they favored Arab Sudanese. This set the stage for

Civil War

which has lasted for fifty years.

and Black Muslims has led to genocide in Darfur and a refugee crisis.

Janjaweed, or gunmen in Sudan, attacked Black Muslims in retaliation for the Black Muslim attacks against the government.Slide15
