How does Capote paint the setting of the novel? What effect does it ha: Transcript
. T. he . L. iterary Merits of. Truman Capote’s. Compelling Novel. Structure (flow). The way Capote breaks up the story between characters is . definitely. . the best way to accurately convey the message and still provide suspense and evoke emotion. While creating the make up, I used the face sponge with the red paint. I dabbed on the red paint onto the face to create the base. I used toilet paper and glue stick; I glued small pieces of the toilet paper and placed it on the cheek. I made it in to a messy circle, it was make to look lumpy and that the cut/ wound is deep. This makes it look gruesome so therefor the audience will get a little fear from it, they wouldn’t want that to happen to them. I dabbed more red paint onto the toilet paper. (I also dapped the black face paint at each process of red face paint to make it look more dark and dirty.) I covered the toilet paper with fake blood so it looked like a fresh burn/wound, the point of the fresh wound or burn is to create the effect that it is disturbing and it looks realist so people will get scared or worried. We make the model look like she has a black eye. We used black blue and a little bit of red for the black eye. We smeared and dabbed the face paint on. This created the effect that she has been beaten up quite badly. . Presented . by:. . Rastislav Vajdák. . Senior Test Engineer. . . Oxymat. -Slovakia, s.r.o.. Fine tuning and setting PSA. Stepping forward, I began my journey along the sands; idyllic, white and fresh. A small wave washed across the sand dissolving the remaining footprints of its inhabitants. The sun unveiled an invisible blanket of warmth around me. The clear blue waters reflected the grandiose of the majestic sky. The seagulls, the blue-green sea, the clouds, everything around me appealed to me. Frolicking birds chasing round and round in circles. I watched from my viewpoint on the white sandy beach, as the captains of each ship slowly stepped on to dry land, like aliens landing on a strange planet. . Background. This short story, written more than 50 years ago, came to light for the first time when Gerald Clarke, Truman Capote's biographer, was preparing a collection of his letters (due out, along with "The Complete Stories," later this month). .
