US Embassy New Delhi VEHICLE SALE INSTRUCTIONS Listed below are 11 vehicles for sale. The method of sale will be a sealed - bid auction. Bids can be submitted in person at the US Embassy GSO Gate “C” during working hours, or may be submitted electronically to the email address NewDelhiGSOAuctionBids@state.gov . When making a bid, please list your full name, phone number, and email address in your email body. Please clearly list your bid associated with the correct lot number. The GSO office reserves the right to cancel any bid that is not clearly marked. The vehicles will be available for public viewing on Wednesday, May 6 th from 9:00 am to 11:00 at 10 Tilak Marg, New Delhi. It is not required to attend the public viewing in order to place a bid. We will accept paper bids during the viewing time. Bids will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 8 th . Winners will be contacted on Monday, May 1 1 th . The US Embassy will provide all registration paperwork (forms 28, 29, 30) for these vehicles after purchase. However, some of these vehicles are Diesel Vehicles more than 10 years old , and they ca nn ot be re - registered in Delhi/NCR as per NGT ruling. Those interested in these vehicles must plan to have the vehicles transferred out of the NCR region to a location where diesel vehicles older than 10 years are allowed to ply the roads.
