10 th National Quality Conclave Theme: Creating an Ecosystem for World Class Quality August 7 - 8, 2015 at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi About National Quality Conclave National Quality Conclave is the annual event of Quality Council of India . The fir st C onclave was held in 2006 and the 10 th C onclave will be held on August 7 - 8, 2015 in New Delhi. Each year the C onclave adopts a theme to inspire questions that will increase our understanding of quality practices in an innovative world and provide direc tions for additional practical applications for shaping a better future. The C onclave will act as a plat form for sharing new ideas, and involve in active discussion about promoting and achieving support from all stakeholders to improve quality in all spher es of life. In every C onclave a large number of delegates from all segments like industry, services, education, healthcare and small & medium enterprises (SMEs) receive learning from national and international experts. Like every year , the 10 th National Quality Conclave will be addressed by several policy and decision makers from Government and Business leaders from industry /services . Experts , national and international will discuss the latest development, trends with applied examples related to specializ ed domain of knowledge. The Council came into existence in 1997 through a Cabinet decision as an autonomous non - profit organization through seed funding by the Indian government and the Indian industry, represented by three premier industry associations - Associa ted Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is the nodal department for quality and the QCI The QCI has four boards involved in accredi tation and promotion of quality National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) NABCB provides accreditation to certification and inspection bodies bas ed on assessment of their competence as per the board’s criteria and in accordan ce with international standards National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) NABET is a constituent board of the QCI. With the growing need for competent p ersonnel and credible vocational training in various industry sectors, NABET has been expanding its scope of services to cate r to the needs of the industry National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) NABH was set up to establi sh and operate accreditation programmes f or healthcare organizations .
