Our alumni tell us that some of the best benefits of getting involved at the New England Aquarium as a teen are: t Being more connected to and knowing more about the ocean and how to keep it healthy t Learning about the research conducted by the Aquarium, and being able to share that knowledge with visitors t Traveling to various schools and community centers to raise awareness about environmental

sustainability and climate change and how these affect marine life t Being paired with a mentor who can help figure out future plans such as college and career path t Building friendships with peers with different backgrounds from all over Boston t Being surrounded by educated, driven peers who motivate each other to think about their future Visitor Education volunteer Teens on a collecting trip live blue Ambassadors on a river cleanup We at the New England Aquarium are proud of our long-standing commitment to students from elementary school to college. Our programs will help you to

find and share your personal strengths, and our interactive marine science learning programs will empower you to make positive changes in your world.
