Possessive Nouns Rules shows ownership and modifies like an adjective . It will always have an apostrophe s (‘s) or an s apostrophe (s’) after it . To find the PN ask the question whose and then say the noun. (Ex., Who’s car? Sam’s)

Possessive Nouns Rules 1.) For a singular noun- add (‘s) Example- boy’s 2.) For a plural noun that ends in s- add (‘) Example- boys’ 3.) For a plural noun that does NOT end in s- add (‘s) Example- men’s
