Advanced Promotion for Civilian Acquired Skills (ACASP) Advanced Individual Training (AIT) may also be waived for applicants enlisting to use their civilian acquired skills in the Army. Under the ACASP program Army applicants with prior civilian training, education and/or experience may enlist at a higher pay grade (Specialist/E4). 2 Postsecondary Credit and Licensure Opportunities

Recruiters refer Soldiers to college during enlistment--emphasize local colleges Soldiers state intent to enroll during or after discharge Colleges provide guidance: apply for admission, prepare for academic experience, stay in touch by Website and e-mail When applying, Soldiers stand for admission on own merit Helps colleges enroll mature, disciplined Soldiers/Veterans Allows high schools to count future/new Soldiers as college-bound Helps Soldiers achieve their education goals; helps the Army with recruiting and retention Concurrent Admissions Program ( ConAP ) Partnership between the Army Recruiting Command and over 1,900 participating colleges to mutually advance the goals of lifelong learning and postsecondary education for Future Soldiers. 3 Postsecondary Credit and Licensure Opportunities
