Page 1 of 1 UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE REJECTION LETTER To: The enclosed Financing Statement, Termination Statement, Assignment Statement, Release Statement, Continuation Statement or Request for Information is being returned for the reason checked below: ( ) Effective July 1, 2001, only Financing Statements concerning timber to be cut, minerals or fixtures may be filed in the Real Property Records in the County Clerk's office. The correct fee is $_________. Note: Section 9.509 (a)(1) of the Business and C ommerce Code allows a fixture filing to be filed in the Real Property Records without signatures. ( ) Effective July 1, 2001, Continuation Statements may not be filed in the UCC Records of the County Clerk's Office. ( ) Effective July 1, 2001, the office in which to file a Financing Statement to perfect a security interest in consumer goods or collateral, including fixtures of a transmitting utility, is the Office of the Secretary of State. ( ) Any Financing Statement on consumer goods not conti nued with an original Financing Statement filed in the Office of the Secretary of State prior to July 1, 2002 expired on its own accord.
