At approximately 11:30 Saturday evening, the LAPD arrive at the Kardashian mansion where they are told a murder has occurred.
The police
first seal the house, so no one enters and no one leaves. They then begin their sweep of the house for evidence. In the living room, they find a
glass Kim had been drinking from before she left to change her clothes. The glass has three sets of fingerprints on it and a few drops of a clear liquid in the bottom. In the kitchen, the body of
Kanye
West lies crumpled in a pool of blood near the open backdoor. There is a kitchen, butcher knife
lying on the floor beside him. The knife contains one set of prints. There are also small shards of glass found in the sole of
Kanye’s shoes. There is a small splatter of blood on the corner and down the side of the kitchen island. In the hall, there is a shattered martini glass just outside Kim’s bedroom. The glass has one set of fingerprints on it. In Kim’s bedroom closet, Kim’s body is found strewn out on the floor. There is a scarf tied around her neck.Slide6
When speaking to the people present in the house when the crimes occurred, the police learn the following:
The
Kardashians
had been hosting a
small gathering
that evening with guests that included all members of the
Kardashian family (Kris, Bruce, Kourtney
, Scott, Khloe, Kim, Kanye
, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie), Jay Z,
Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, and Liam Hemsworth
.Kim had had a few
drinks told Liam she was not feeling well just before she left to change her outfit
Kylie claims to have seen Kanye strangle Kim in the bedroom closet
Kylie was found hysterical and sobbing over Kanye’s body just after the guests and family had heard some kind of altercation in the kitchen and rushed inSlide7Slide8Slide9Slide10
What Really Happened:Kim had an argument with her sister
Kourtney
earlier in the night. She had had one too many drinks and was flirting with Liam
Hemsworth
.
Miley
saw this, got mad, and offered to get Kim a drink. Miley
slipped Cyanide in the drink then handed it off to Kourtney to give to Kim. Kim had the drink then went to her bedroom closet to change her clothes.
Kanye followed her and in a jealous rage after seeing her with Liam, he began to strangle her with one of her designer scarves but stopped why he realized what he was doing. Unbeknownst to
Kanye, Kylie saw him pulling the scarf around Kim’s neck and dropped her martini glass on the hardwood floor in the
hall just outside the bedroom as she ran to the kitchen in shock. At the same time Kanye was pulling the scarf around Kim’s neck, she was killed by the Cyanide
Miley had put in her drink. Kanye
believes he killed her. He drops her body to the ground, runs out of the closet, down the hall, and is headed for the back door which is in the kitchen. Just before he reaches the door, Kylie, hysterical, attacks him from behind. Instinctively,
Kanye whips around and strikes out at his attacker. Kylie is flung off of him and hits her head on the corner of the kitchen island. There is a small splatter of blood left behind. Kanye, with no time to lose, turns back toward the door, opens it, and begins to step outside. Simultaneously, Kylie stumbles back to her feet and in a fit of hysteria, grabs a knife off of the counter and stabs Kanye, killing him. His body falls to the floor, and a pool of blood forms around him. Kylie falls ho her knees sobbing, and this is when family and friends enter the room and immediately call the police.
