M Frida(b Status report against complaint received by Public Grievance Cell The Public Grievance Cell was incepted on 19.11.2007 and since its inception 2 486 complaints have been received till 30.06.2019. In 1 15 cases the allegations against the police personnel have been substantiated on enquiry and appropriate departmental actions against the concerned police personnel have already been taken. In 2072 cases the allegation against the police personnel could not be substantiated. 150 complaints have been referred to the concerned department for taking necessary action, as the complaints did not contain any allegation against the personnel of Kolkata Police. The remaining complaints are being enquired into. ------ ------------------------------
