Chicken PoxChicken pox is a virus.

People who get the virus get red rashes that looks like blisters.

It is very very itchy.

They range in size from an eraser to a small button.The way you get better is to stay home until the rashes are gone.

If you get a vaccine you will not get it because you have antibodies to fight the virus.Slide3

How you get chicken poxMost often children under 10 get it.

To get chicken pox someone that has it will cough or sneeze.

The virus is the air and as you breath that air you will get the virus.

It is very easy to catch.The other way you get it is to stay in the same room as an infected person and breath the same air.

It lasts for about a week or 3 weeks.Slide4

MeaslesMeasles are red rashes.

Measles are a virus.

There is no cure for measles.The way to get better is to see the doctor.Slide5

How you get measlesYou get measles the same way you get chicken pox.

The person that has it will sneeze or cough near you and you breath the same air.

It lasts for a week or 2 weeks.Slide6
