REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Education and Experience requirements: 1) Associate\'s degree from an accredited medical laboratory technician program; OR 2) Complete 60 semester hours of study in an accredited college PLUS complete an accredited medical laboratory technician program OR complete an advanced military medical laboratory technician program of at least 50 weeks and hold the Medical Lab Specialist position within 5 years prior to applying.
