Materials 1 skein 128 Superwash Mul�s (100% Superwash Merino Wool – 128 yds/100 g) – shown in 105 (Gems) Size US 9 (5.5 mm) 16” circular needle Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” circular needle Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) double point needles S�tch Marker Yarn Needle Abbrevia�ons K – Knit K2Tog – Knit 2 Together YO – Yarn Over K2P2 – Knit 2, Purl 2 SSK – Slip, Slip, Knit KFB – Knit into the front and back of 1 s�tch (increase 1) Cast on 72 s�tches with the US 9 16” circular needle. Join to knit in the round – be careful not to twist s�tches. Place marker at the beginning of the round. Work K2P2 (2 x 2 ribbing) for 6 rounds. Increase 8 s�tches – K8, KFB (8 �mes) Change to larger needles Begin pa�ern: Row 1 - [YO, K2tog] – repeat un�l end of round Row 2 – K en�re round Row 3 – [SSK, YO] – repeat un�l end of round Row 4 – K en�re round Repeat un�l hat measure about 8” from cast on edge Start decreases – Change to DPNs when necessary: Row 1 – [YO, K2tog, K2tog] – repeat un�l end of round Row 2 – [SSK, K] – repeat un�l end of round Row 3 – [K2Tog] – repeat un�l end of round Row 4 – [[K2Tog] – repeat un�l end of round Row 5 – [K2Tog] – repeat un�l end of round Cut yarn – thread through remaining 8 s�tches (using tapestry needle). Weave in ends.
