Each PAIR OF PARTNERS will begin with $500You will see each problem for 10 seconds before deciding how much of your money you want to RISK…you will place your bet and share it with your neighboring partners that you are competing against. Each problem will be displayed for 1-2 minutes. The PARTNERS must then work together to determine the solution. You may only bet UP TO HALF of your money at any timeYou may choose to bet $0 ONE TIME ONLY

Your best must be in increments of $50, so round down if you are shortYou are responsible for keeping track of your $$ (be honest…) If it’s correct, partners add the amount they bet to their total. If it’s incorrect, it’s deducted from their total. The group with the most $$$ at the end wins.WE WILL ALSO LOOK FOR THE RICHEST PAIR OF PARTNERS IN THE OVERALL CLASS. HAPPY BETTING!!

Make a scatterplot of the data. Do you expect the correlation to be positive or negative based on the scatterplot?A college student wonders if tall women tend to date taller men than do short women. She measures herself, her dormitory roommate, and the women in the adjoining rooms; then she measures the next man that each women dates ( kind of creepy, huh?) Here are the data ( Height in inches)
