They became famous for there fine carvings and bronze work. The people of Shang used bronzed to make weapons, vessels and chariot fixtures.

They also carved jade and wove silk.Slide5

The Shang dynasty ruled parts of northern china.

They created the first decimal system.Slide6

Downfall

The Shang dynasty ended because their king was killed by another king from a rival kingdom… (The Chou kingdom)

Interesting Facts

The Shang dynasty used oracle bones to talk to the spirits of their ancestors.

They practiced human sacrifice by barring slaves ALIVE in tombs of there masters.
