Five Fun Facts of Chipmunks

An adult chipmunk is 8 ½ to 11 ½ inches in length.

The adult chipmunk weighs approximately 2 ½ to 5 ounces.

Their main enemies are foxes, weasels, and bobcats.

Chipmunks are in the ground squirrels family. They will climb a tree to harvest acorns, hickory nuts and/or hazelnuts, but they are not as agile in the trees as their squirrel cousins.
