Habitat

An adult chipmunk is 8 ½ to 11 ½ inches in length.
The adult chipmunk weighs approximately 2 ½ to 5 ounces.
Their main enemies are foxes, weasels, and bobcats.
Chipmunks are in the ground squirrels family.They will climb a tree to harvest acorns, hickory nuts and/or hazelnuts, but they are not as agile in the trees as their squirrel cousins.
