Connect Nevada Residential Technology Assessment Results

2 Survey Overview and Summary of Results Survey Overview:Between October 30 and November 26, 2013, Connect Nevada conducted a random digit dial telephone survey of adult heads of households across the state of Nevada. This sample included 200 adults age 18 or older who were contacted via cellular phones and 1,004 adults who were contacted via landline telephone. Once the respondent agreed to participate, these surveys took approximately eleven (11) minutes to complete. Connect Nevada conducted the surveys in English and Spanish. Connect Nevada set quotas by age, gender, and county of residence, and weighted the results to coincide with 2012 United States Census Population estimates. The effective post-weighting margin of error = + 3.37% at a 95% level of confidence for the statewide sample. As with any survey, question wording and the practical challenges of data collection may introduce an element of error or bias that is not reflected in this margin of error. Survey methodology, survey instruments, and initial results were peer reviewed by Dr. Mingjie Sun of Iowa State University. www.connectnv.org
