Unpacking and InstallationUse a properly grounded electricaloutlet of correct voltage and currenthandling capacity. 8 Setting the Stirring Speedset the speed, turn the STIR knob to the desiredsetting.Turn the knob clockwise to increase the speedor counter-clockwise to decrease the speed.To discon-tinue stirring, turn knob counter-clockwise to OFF. Setting the Temperatureset the temperature, turn the HEAT knob to thedesired setting.Turn the knob clockwise to increase thetemperature or counter-clockwise to decrease the tem-perature.To discontinue heating, turn knob counter-clockwise to OFF.The temperature will display in ¡C.When choosing asetpoint, the display will indicate the setpoint for 5 sec-onds, after which the display will flash until the desiredThe ÒCAUTION - HOTTOPÓindicator illuminates whenthe plate reaches 50¡C.When the heating is turned off,the indicator will continue to flash until the plate tem-perature drops below 50¡C.
