Sorry guys I’m gone today. Both of my sitters are sick, so I’m home being mom.
PLEASE be respectful to Mrs. Tracy.
She’s a nurse and can help you with this blood type information. You know the procedures (ask to go to the restroom, help each other AND stay on task).
NO phones until your class has completed the tutorial
I created for you.
Do NOT argue with Mrs. Tracy.
She is very knowledgeable and very sweet. Remember subs have a hard job but YOU can make her day go well
If you understand what’s going on, PLEASE share YOUR knowledge and teach others.
Positive feedback will result in a positive result for YOU! Keep that in mind Slide3
Partner Whiteboard learning!
Per pair get one whiteboard, one dry-erase marker and a paper towel
Follow directions on each slide. Take notes when needed and complete practice problems when asked.
Quiz next period!
You can also watch videos on Classrooms for review.Slide4

Don’t forget “My Family Pedigree” assignment needs to be “turn in” via Classrooms by Friday (aka tomorrow)Slide37

Today you will understand the (+) and (-) about blood, along with the four phenotypes.
1
st
– watch video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttjn1jVACk8Slide38
Here’s the summary…
EACH four phenotypes can either be Rh+ or Rh-
This makes 8 different blood types
One blood sample is test with each serums above. The result of this blood is Type B(-).
With blood type testing, if CLUMPING happens, that means it’s a match for that type.
Clumping means the sample is Type B
NO Clumping means the sample is NOT Type A
NO Clumping means the sample is NOT Rh(+)Slide39
